Introduction

This guide provides a comprehensive and detailed approach to using Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) for Post Cycle Therapy (PCT). The process involves several steps and options to effectively use HCG for PCT.

Essential Supplies

To get started, you will need the following items.
An ** indicates the item is optional

Preparation Steps

  1. Pop off the lids of the HCG vial and the BAC water vial.
  2. Wipe the top of the BAC water vial with an alcohol swab and wait for it to dry.
  3. Repeat step 2 for the HCG vial.
  4. Draw 2mL of BAC water (or 1ml at a time if using a 1mL syringe) with a syringe.
  5. Inject 2mL BAC water into the HCG vial to reconstitute the HCG.

Note: Once reconstituted with 2mL, no more BAC water needs to be added.

Dosing

Use a peptide calculator to find out the amount needed to fill the syringe for your desired dose. There are several options for dosing.

  • Option 1: The preferred option. Use HCG while on cycle, and leading up to SERM use as PCT.
    • On cycle: 250IU every other day
    • Off cycle, before starting a SERM: 250IU every other day
    • Starting your SERM: Discontinue HCG
  • Option 2: Start HCG 6 weeks before the end of your cycle.
    • 6-4 weeks until end of cycle: 500-1000 IU 3x/week
    • 3-1 weeks until end of cycle: 250-500 IU 3x/week
    • End of cycle: Discontinue HCG. Introduce a SERM after waiting 5 half lives of the longest ester drug used. For more details on SERM use, see the Enclomiphene or Tamoxifen (Nolvadex) guides.
  • Option 3: Start HCG 1-2 weeks before starting a SERM for PCT.Note: this may require an AI due to the excess amounts of HCG, which can have estrogenic effects. For more details on AI use, see the Aromasin or Arimidex guides.
  • 2-1 weeks until starting a SERM: 1000-1500 IU every other day

Injection

Perform a subcutaneous injection (tutorials available online).Put the cap on your needle and dispose of it responsibly. Do not reuse needles.

Storage

Store your reconstituted liquid vial of HCG in the fridge, and any remaining powder vials in the freezer to prolong shelf life.
